The Riftn Moderation Handbook
Riftn is community owned and community run, so the rules its moderators work to are not an internal document. This is the handbook they read and sign before they can moderate anything, published in full.
Three golden rules outrank everything else in it:
- Only malicious actors get banned — people gaming the system or scamming users. Being disliked, wrong or unpopular is not a ban.
- Adult or extreme content is marked mature, not deleted. It stays on the creator's profile; it just does not greet a stranger on the home page.
- The only thing deleted without hesitation is child sexual abuse material. Everything else is left to community moderation.
